You are not alone — and you don’t have to feel this way forever.
Understanding Depression
Depression is more than feeling sad. It can make the simplest tasks feel impossible, drain your energy, and make it hard to see a way forward. You may feel disconnected from the people and activities you once loved. You may wonder if anything will ever feel different.
We want you to know: it can. Depression is one of the most treatable mental health conditions — and with the right support, real recovery is possible.

You Are Not Alone
Depression affects millions of people every year, across every age, background, and walk of life. It is not a weakness, a character flaw, or something to push through on your own. It is a health condition — and like any health condition, it deserves proper care.
At CLCHC, our therapists are experienced in helping patients navigate depression with compassion, skill, and evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs.
Signs You May Be Experiencing Depression
Everyone’s experience with depression looks a little different. Common signs include:
- Persistent feelings of sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness
- Loss of interest in activities that used to bring you joy
- Changes in appetite or sleep patterns
- Fatigue and low energy, even with rest
- Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
- Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt
- Withdrawing from family, friends, or social activities
- Physical symptoms such as headaches or stomach pain without a clear cause
If you recognize yourself in these signs — even just a few of them — please reach out. You deserve support.

How We Help
Our approach to depression treatment is whole-person and personalized. We take the time to understand what you’re going through, what has contributed to where you are, and what matters most to you in moving forward.

Individual Therapy
One-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist give you a safe space to explore your feelings, understand their roots, and develop practical tools for feeling better. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other proven approaches to help you shift negative thought patterns and rebuild a more positive relationship with yourself.
Integrated Care
Because your mental and physical health are connected, our behavioral health team works closely with CLCHC’s medical providers. If medication may be appropriate as part of your care, we can help coordinate that conversation with your primary care provider.
Crisis Support
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call CLCHC at (949) 866-3600 — we’re here.
Taking the First Step
Reaching out for help is one of the bravest things you can do. Our team is ready to meet you with care, without judgment — wherever you are in your journey.
